Told through the voices of togolese griots (storytellers), zāgbéto is a cinematic journey into the heart of west african folklore—where tradition, mystery, and the unseen collide. As the guardian’s presence flickers between past and present, the question lingers: when a spirit fades, does its power disappear, or does it live in those who remember?
